Fast capture without surrendering control
Hold Fn, say the thought, release, and get back clean text where you were already working.
Your data is your data
Hold Fn, talk naturally, and turn messy speech into clean text while keeping the sensitive stuff under your control. Your notes. Your clients. Your ideas. Your machine.
Founder story
I built this because I kept running into the same stupid problem: I would be somewhere with crappy internet, try to capture a thought by voice, and the whole workflow would fall apart. Dictation would lag, disconnect, or just fail right when I needed it.
And even when it worked, it still had to send my voice off my device to some server somewhere, wait for that to process it, then hopefully come back cleaned up enough to paste where I actually needed it.
Why the hell does this need to leave my device just to turn my voice into clean text?
I did not need another bloated writing app. I needed something simple: hit record, talk naturally, get cleaned-up text, and paste it where I am already working — even when the internet is bad or unavailable.
The problem
The rough version of your thoughts is usually the most sensitive version. It has names, half-formed ideas, client details, medical context, legal strategy, private numbers, and business plans before they are ready for anyone else. Generic dictation tools train you to ship that raw stream somewhere you do not control. Voice Scribe Pro is built for the opposite habit: fast capture with a local-first Mac workflow that keeps private work close to you.
Hold Fn, say the thought, release, and get back clean text where you were already working.
Turns the ramble into sentences, bullets, and drafts you can actually send.
Menu bar access, transcript picker, repaste shortcut, microphone selection, and guided setup keep the workflow visible.
Built for pauses, restarts, and stream-of-consciousness drafts — not just short robot commands.
Teach it the names, product terms, snippets, and phrases you use every day.
Beta members get Mac download access, product updates, and a chance to shape the privacy controls before public launch.
For attorneys, paralegals, and small firms that want faster drafting without routing client work through a generic cloud transcription tool you do not control.
